"Gabe"
Shot in an empty warehouse with two lights. Main light is a 200WS strobe over my right shoulder. The second light is set at 100WS and is aimed at the area behind the model. It is in a small soft box so the light is soft, but with definable 'fall-off'.
There are fill cards in front of the model, but I wanted her to blend into the background and not have a backlit 'rimlight' loo to it. By making sure there is no fill behind her, there is no reflection on the back-curve of her arms, torso and head.
I am standing a bit elevated (18") so I can get the slight down look on the shot.
The model is oiled and moved within a very narrow area on the floor to keep the light to her front.
Camera was a point-n-shoot Olympus digital with a 105 equiv lens.
Photoshop includes: color correction, sharpening, softening, resharpening and burn/dodge.
