From Steven Goldstein

Hi Don,
Well, it's been a few days since I attended your lighting workshop last Saturday. I would have written sooner to thank you, but I have been tied up working on the shots I got that day! I am also researching a few of the items you used/discussed with us. I have already purchased a light meter (Sekonic 358-L) and am looking at several options of remote slave units for firing my strobes/flashes off camera.

When I experienced how shooting with a flash meter made setting the camera so much faster, I knew that I had to add it to my gear. Seeing the results of your lighting methods on my camera was AMAZING!

Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to learn these techniques. Your "Lighting Essentials" DVD covers so much of what you taught, but there is nothing like hands on experience in seeing how to set things up to really make the information stick!

It was mentioned by several other students that day that your open, honest style of teaching was very appreciated. Wearing the Teacher Hat suits you!

I look forward to learning more from your "Killer Series" DVD, and from you personally in the future.
Sincerely,
-- Steven Goldstein

If you would like to contact
me for any reason, you can
pick up the phone, dial me in
on Skype or send an email.

If you want to send me an email, that's easy. Send it to:

don (dot) giannatti ( at ) gmail.com - I hate spammers
and apologize for the hassle.

You can call me on my cell nearly any time:

Skype can be arranged if you text me and tell
me to call you on Skype.

My studio is in Phoenix, Arizona. It isn't fancy. It isn't huge. It isn't considered a 'must visit' by PDN... it is a simple work space where I shoot, design and
pontificate. Oh, my drums and keyboard are there too. I am nearly always available for photographers passing through or friends from the Lighting Essentials site.

Give me a call and drop in. There's generally something fun happening. If you bring your portfolio, I will be glad to take a look at it, but I am not a portfolio consultant,
I just like looking at how other shooters see the world.

Let me know you are dropping by and I will send you a link to Google Maps and you are there in no time.
