Photographers, w e will be staying up late and discussing photography
and marketing Saturday evening, and you are encouraged to
participate. Bring laptops and we can look at work and get your marketing
strategy tweaked if you are so inclined. If not, we will certainly
have fun and great food and great conversation.

So I'm coming
to Kansas City to meet all
the Midwest shooters and have a great workshop. There will be a meetup
on the Friday evening befoe the workshop. We will keep everyone informed
on this page so bookmark it if you are attending the Kansas City workshop.
This is the page where all the info will posted. We are currently looking
at several venues in the greater KC area, and should have one nailed
down soon.
It is an all day workshop on both days, so be ready for it.
We are going to shoot inside and on location. If you are attending and
you have a favorite model, let her know about it and send her to the
model info page on the Workshop site for more information. You will be
shooting a ton of images, so be prepared with plenty of cards.
Bring camera, flash, lenses and plenty of media cards. If you have a
meter, bring it. If you don't know how to use your meter, you will after
this workshop. Also, if you have your own triggers and reflectors, bring
them. Plainly mark you gear so that you leave with exactly what you came
with.
When you sign up you will be asked for a deposit of $200. If for some
reason I cannot come that money will be returned in full to you. I don't
forsee that happening, but just to let you know.
We limit the workshop attendees to 15 participants.
Included:
Workshop Workbook with lighting schemes, ideas, charts, graphs, cool
little arrows and stuff - and places for you take and keep notes on what
we do.
Lighting Essentials 1 DVD with Photoshop
Essentials
Exclusive Workshop DVD - not for sale anywhere. Only for workshop
attendees.
Models. You will have a ton of images for your portfolio after this
workshop. I do insist that photographers send the models images for their
portfolios as well. We will be exchanging emails with everyone to facilitate
that better.
I will be there as long in the evening Saturday as you all want me to
stay, but we gotta go somewhere fun. Jazz, Barbecue... Kansas City hospitality.
This workshop is about learning to light, not listening to me bluster
on, so there is very little of that. We focus on taking your photography
to the next level... and maybe two. I will add some more info to this
page as it comes in. |
