An extensive, but simple retouch to create a hand-colored, half-sepia look. Great for glamour, beauty and seniors, this technique will create a stunning image with loads of style. In this tutorial I also lengthen Christina's legs, giving the shot a more glamorous look.

Making an interesting edge effect at Don Giannatti Workshops page.
There are occasions when a cool edge effect can make a picture stand out. Here is a simple one.

Learn how to use some of the Photoshop tools for making interesting edge effects. This little movie will show you how to create a warped edge, and then apply a brudh effect for a 'torn or ripped' effect. Easy to do, just follow the video.

Converting a color photo into a semi-sepia shot. A face gets minor retouching here.

Here is a beautiful woman with minor retouching. To get an even more glamourous look, I have created a semi-sepia look to the image. This look is reminiscent of the hand-colored images we produced 20 years ago. You can see the original image and the retouched image here. Sign up for the workshop to learn even more tricks. Sometimes the light isn't what you want, and the location is not optimum... but you still gotta get the shot. This photograph of Toriann was taken on on a warm day in a wash in the desert. Getting clean whites is sometimes a challenge. Here is a simple setup I use to get a clean white backgound and good light on the subject.
